Welcome to the East Finchley Library Users Group website. We are a group of local volunteers who try to support and promote our local library. Please join us by e-mailing Polly at the address above. Members receive occasional e-mail newsletters about library issues, campaigns and events.

 

LONGER OPENING HOURS – Spring 2012

Great news! Our library now opens for an additional half hour in the morning and lunchtime opening has been reinstated. Opening hours are now:

Monday Closed

Tuesday 9.30am – 5pm

Wednesday 9.30am – 8pm

Thursday 9.30am – 5pm

Friday 10am – 5pm

Saturday 9.30am – 5pm

Sunday Closed

East Finchley Library offers a selection of adult books, a separate children's library and a teenage room. Also available are spoken word CD sets, language CDs, DVDs, music CDs, graphic novels for teenagers and adults and a small collection of books in Gujarati and French.

PCs are available for hire - one hour per day free for library members.

A hall and small kitchen (no cooking facilities) are available for hire - capacity for 100 people (enquire at the library for details of charges and availability).

SAVE OUR LIBRARIES DAY - 5th Feb 2011

A big thank you to everyone who turned out in the not very wonderful weather to protest at our branch. We collected 179 signatures in the space of one hour and took out a record number of books!
